Panelists represent a plethora of career possibilities and opportunities to which dancers can aspire: teaching artists; educators; performers/choreographers in concert and commercial dance settings; directors, writers, arts administrators, entrepreneurs, video artists, somatic educators, fitness/wellness coaches, recreational professionals, etc..

The first panel features local, regional, and nationally recognized former and dancers and choreographers: Mary Roberts, Choreographer, Dancer, Dance Educator; Theresa Shotwell, Dance Fitness Specialist, Author, Retired Professor and Administrator; David Barrow Wiley, Head of Set Operations & Courtesy Faculty at FSU; and Megan O’Neil, COCA Community Engagement Specialist.

Each conversation will include a participatory activity that will ground/personalize the discussion. The thematic throughline will be maintained by moderators Afua Hall and Laura Page Kyber.
